Our Projects

Our members promote:

• the health and safety of all staff and students
• state and local policies and legislation which provide public schools the resources they need to complete their mission
• science, social studies and sex education curricula which implement the soundest methodologies used in those fields regardless of their compatibility with any ideology
• the strengthening of the teaching profession to retain and recruit quality teachers and to allow them to use their full talents to help students
• increasing the scope of student self-governance in their own education
